About Airidge (XPeng AeroHT)
Airidge, which traded as XPeng AeroHT until its 2026 rebrand, is backed by Chinese EV maker XPeng and pursues a consumer product rather than an air taxi service. The Land Aircraft Carrier is a six-wheeled road vehicle carrying a detachable two-seat electric multirotor in its rear compartment, priced under USD 280,000.
The company has built a dedicated mass-production facility in Guangzhou, claimed as the first volume flying-car plant anywhere, and reports around 600 firm orders alongside a new variant and a military derivative. Deliveries are scheduled through 2026.
This is a private-ownership product, not a charter service, and its regulatory path differs from passenger-carrying operators. It is included here because it is one of the few electric VTOL products actually reaching customers.
