About Volant Aerotech

Volant Aerotech builds the VE25-100, a five-seat lift-plus-cruise aircraft. The architecture separates lift rotors from cruise propellers, which costs some efficiency but avoids the tilting mechanisms that make certification harder.

The company has raised more than USD 300 million across six rounds, including a further CNY 100 million in June 2026. It produced an initial batch of VE25 X1 airframes and is working toward commercial test operations pending CAAC certification.

Volant is one of the three Chinese programmes, alongside Aerofugia and TCab, racing certification deadlines through 2026 in a market where low-altitude financing exceeded CNY 20 billion in the first half of the year.
