About TCab Tech

TCab Tech develops the E20, a five-seat tiltrotor designed for intercity hops of up to about 200 km. The company is based in Shanghai and has completed four funding rounds, including a Series B of several hundred million yuan.

TCab has formally submitted its type certificate application for the E20 to the CAAC and reports more than 200 pre-orders. It intends to begin aircraft sales during 2026, with early trial routes around Shanghai and the Pearl River and Yangtze River deltas following certification, and international sales from 2027 or 2028.

The E20 sits in the same class as the Joby S4 and Archer Midnight but is certifying with a different regulator on a notably faster published timeline.
