Aerofugia is the advanced air mobility subsidiary of Geely Group, developing the AE200, a five-seat tilting-propeller aircraft aimed at intercity routes in the Yangtze and Pearl River deltas.
In 2026 Aerofugia became the first company in China to obtain an operating certificate for a manned eVTOL with tilting propellers, a harder architecture to certify than the multirotors that preceded it. It closed a CNY 1 billion round, roughly USD 140 million, and targets completion of full airworthiness certification in late 2026 or early 2027.
Geely’s automotive manufacturing base gives Aerofugia a production advantage similar to the one Stellantis provides Archer, and it is among the three Chinese programmes furthest along with the CAAC.
