The VE25-100 separates its lift rotors from its cruise propellers. That costs some cruise efficiency compared with a tilting design but removes the tilt mechanism, which is one of the harder things to certify on an eVTOL.
An initial batch of VE25 X1 airframes has been built and the programme is working toward supervised commercial test operations.
