About SkyDrive

SkyDrive is a Toyota-backed Japanese eVTOL developer headquartered in Tokyo. Its flagship aircraft, the SD-05, is a piloted, three-seat (1 pilot + 2 passengers) multirotor eVTOL designed for short urban hops, with manufacturing taking place at a former Toyota plant in Iwata.

SkyDrive obtained a Type Certificate Application acceptance from the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) and is pursuing concurrent FAA certification, with launch markets targeted in Osaka and Suzuka.
