About Elroy Air

Elroy Air builds the Chaparral — an autonomous, hybrid-electric VTOL cargo aircraft designed to carry up to 500 lb of cargo over 300 miles. The aircraft uses a turbo-electric architecture: a small turbine generates electricity for the rotors, giving range and rapid-turnaround characteristics that battery-only eVTOLs cannot reach today.

Customers and partners include FedEx, the US Air Force AFWERX programme, and several humanitarian logistics operators.
