About Horizon Aircraft

Horizon Aircraft, listed on Nasdaq as HOVR, develops the Cavorite X7, a seven-seat hybrid-electric VTOL. Its fan-in-wing design covers the lift fans with sliding panels after transition so the aircraft cruises as a conventional airplane, which is where most of the mission time is spent.

The hybrid powertrain is a deliberate trade. It gives up zero-emission operation in exchange for range and payload that battery-only designs cannot reach today, and it removes dependence on charging infrastructure that largely does not exist yet. Horizon targets medical transport, regional connectivity and defence work rather than dense urban shuttling.

The company has flown a 50 percent scale prototype through full transition and is building toward a full-scale aircraft. It is at an earlier stage than the leading programmes and should be read as a credible development effort rather than a near-term charter option.
