The Cavorite X7 lifts on fourteen fans housed inside its wings. After transition, sliding panels close over them and the aircraft flies as a conventional airplane for the bulk of the mission, which is where the efficiency case is won.
Its hybrid powertrain trades zero-emission operation for roughly 500 miles of range and independence from charging infrastructure, aimed at medical, regional and defence missions rather than dense urban shuttling.
