São Paulo Congonhas to Downtown

The world’s largest helicopter commuter market, and Eve’s home turf.

São Paulo has the busiest civil helicopter fleet of any city on earth, with hundreds of rooftop helipads and an established culture of flying over traffic. It is the one market where the customer behaviour eVTOL depends on already exists at scale.

Eve Air Mobility, majority owned by Embraer, is Brazilian and certifying with ANAC. Short hops from Congonhas into the financial districts of Faria Lima and Berrini are 8 to 12 miles, a distance well inside the Eve 100’s range.

The economics are also more favourable than the US. Existing helicopter fares are high, so an electric aircraft with far lower operating costs has a clear price advantage rather than needing to create demand from nothing.
